The company was founded over 40 years ago to fulfill a mission assigned by the Swedish government — to install fire protection in Sweden’s nuclear power plants. Building on this pioneering project, FireSeal has developed a successful business in two main sectors: the marine and offshore industries in Asia and the USA, and the construction sector, primarily in Sweden and Norway, where FireSeal is the market leader in soft fire sealing solutions.

FireSeal is part of Bergman & Beving, one of Northern Europe’s leading niche suppliers of sustainable, value-creating products and services for the industrial and construction sectors. It started with one of the most safety-critical tasks imaginable: developing a fire sealing system for Sweden’s nuclear power plants, directly commissioned by the Swedish government. Today, FireSeal has been delivering protection for over 40 years — wherever fire simply must not be allowed to spread. From power plants, industrial halls, and mines to schools, hospitals, hotels, and shopping centers.

Our systems have become favorites among both installers and procurement professionals. The reason? We’ve worked hard to make them easy to install and easy to secure. And when it’s fast and done right, it’s also cost-effective. That’s why we now have an impressive list of references, including many of the largest construction projects in the Nordic region. And of course, all FireSeal systems comply with the Swedish Building Regulations (BBR) and are either type-approved or CE-marked.
