Description
FS-Flex A & B Silicone Foam, or FireSeal D03, is a popular fire sealing system that has been widely used for many years. The system is very reliable and has extremely good fire protection properties. Its use has been particularly appreciated in the nuclear industry and the marine sector. To use 20L buckets, an installation sprayer is required. This installation sprayer is no longer available, which has meant that sales can only be made to old customers.
Area of use
Fire rated penetrations for wall and floor penetrations. Intended for cables, pipes, rails and similar.
- Gas, smoke and watertight.
- Allows large movements and/or vibrations in the continuous elements.
- Approved also for coarse pipe dimensions.
- New cables are easily installed.
- Easily repaired.
Installation
FS-Flex A&B does not normally require any maintenance, but when making changes, e.g. replacing or adding cables, new holes can be easily made using a knife or a pointed object. If necessary, damaged seals can be repaired with new Repair Kit 100784.
