Description
FireSeal fire protection compound is a high-quality and easy-to-use gypsum-based product that meets today's high demands in both fire protection and the environment.
Area of use
The product is ETA approved for pipe and cable penetrations in fire-rated building elements for up to 120 minutes (EI 120). Fire Mortar is gas, smoke and water tight and sound reducing.
Properties
Fire Mortar can be easily sanded and dries to a greyish-white color that can be painted over with most existing colors when the seals are dry. The product is well suited for shaft castings. Bearing capacity for seals in floors / shaft casting, the mass can withstand a pressure load of 800kg/m2.
Environmental assessments
Fire Mortar is assessed in several environmental organizations (Nordic Swan Ecolabel, Sunda Hus, Byggvarubedömningen, Basta), which means that this building product meets agreed property criteria regarding environmental and health hazardous properties. Approved in the environmental certification systems Leed and Breeam, which relate to understanding the environment and human health effects in the built environment.
