Description
Fire Putty is a silicone-based, non-hardening fire putty for cable and pipe penetrations. In case of fire, a blockade of fire-resistant filler is formed that restricts the passage of smoke and fire. Fire Putty is listed in most environmental registers, which means that the product is not classified as hazardous to the environment and health. The long shelf life of five years makes FireSeal Fire Putty a product to have on hand when the need arises.
Area of use
Fire Putty is a revolutionary fire putty with a wide range of applications that simplifies the fire sealing of cables and pipes. Fire Putty is intended for fire sealing in fire class EI 60 to EI 120 of cables and metal pipes in wall structures. It is ideal for single penetrations where a simple and cost-effective solution is required. The soft properties of the material make it easy to modify the fire seal, which also makes it possible to remove existing cables or install new ones. FirePutty is sound tested with an acoustic reduction figure of 64-65 dB and is therefore very suitable for acoustic-classified walls.

Installation
A quick and easy installation carried out in the following steps
– Make sure the surface is clean and dry
– Installation temperature should be between 5°C and 40°C
– Work the putty by hand and use fingers or tools to push the putty into the opening around the cable or pipe to a minimum depth of 2 cm.
– Repeat the procedure on the opposite side.
