Description
Silence [FS 100] is a water-based acrylic sealant for fire rated joints. It cures to a semi-flexible seal and prevents the penetration of fire, smoke, gas and water. Uncured material can be removed with a damp cloth. Hardened material is removed mechanically. Silence [FS 100] has very good sound reduction properties, sound reduction index: 58 dB.
Area of use
Silence [FS 100] is intended for fire rated joints between plasterboard walls and solid ceilings and walls of concrete, lightweight concrete, etc. Wall and floor constructions shall be built according to the manufacturers' instructions in at least class EI 60.
